The story of Warriors of the Lost Empire takes place in a fantasy world loosely inspired by ancient history: the Empire of Rome prospered under the reign of Emperor Hadrian, who one day found love in a young man named after Antinous. He then had the city of Antinoé built in homage to the young man, a city in the provinces far from the tumult of business, and abandoned his crown in order to lead a peaceful existence with the boy. Time then does its work, and one day Hadrian mysteriously disappears. The current emperor, eager to know what happened to his predecessor, then sends an investigation team to the city of Antinoe, falling into ruins since the disappearance of its founder, in order to find answers. It doesn’t take long for her to realize that bandits and monsters have taken the place of the city’s inhabitants, and that dark forces are stirring in the shadows. We must therefore hurry.
