What makes the charm of the Seiken Densetsu series, namely an always succulent coating (at least for its time), is present in this episode: the introductory scene, immediately presenting the plot as a distant tale of origins , immediately plunges you into a colorful atmosphere (which darkens as the game progresses), naive, well served by a remarkable 3D for the medium and by an enchanting soundtrack. The voices lent to the different spirits (which remind us that we are indeed dealing with the little brother of the band) leave no room for doubt: it is indeed in the same shimmering wood that Dawn of Mana was forged. And, looking back, if there is one quality that has never left the series, it’s its superb aesthetic.
